Level: Workshops 1 and 2 or equivalent experience Project: Build a Giant Flower You will learn: - Enlarging a small design into a full-size pattern. - Breaking a large shape into manageable components. - Creating volume while keeping weight down. - Shaping petals and building repeated parts efficiently. - Reinforcing vulnerable connections and planning attachment points. - Assembling larger pieces in the right sequence. - Using paint and texture to make oversized forms readable onstage. - Planning transport, storage, repairs, and material costs. Session 1: Scale, pattern, cut, shape, and begin structural assembly. Session 2: Complete assembly, add attachments and details, and apply a practical scenic finish.
